Labor, had received a no-cost extension through June 2014 based on superior per-

Solar/Pv installer training; 175 of the completers were employed. Similarly, our
participation in the Health iT Community College Consortium, led by Tidewater
Community College (vA), received notice on March 23rd of approval for a second
no-cost extension. e Consortium, with 23 original sub-awardees, was first funded

e College submitted two proposals to the SUNY 2020 grant competition. e
first of these cast Suffolk in the role of Downstate regional Lead in an advanced

Montgomery Community College. e second proposal requested $15 million for
the construction, on the Michael J. Grant Campus, of a new, 31,600 square foot,
renewable energy and STeM Center (reSC). Although neither of these proposals
was successful, the reSC proposal was instrumental to the College’s successful effort
to get the reSC building included in the state and the county capital budgets.
