XHI201 HEALTH IT Online Program Tuition $1,100.00
The Health IT Online Program will introduce you to how technology is transforming the delivery
of health care. The Electronic Health Record (EHR) will be presented and how it is shaping
the health care delivery system. Upon completion of the program you will be able to describe
the basic components of computer, its use in health care and basic system maintenance;
you will be able to explain the health care delivery system; and you will be able to prepare a
training program for employees in the health care setting. This is an online self-paced program.
Students will view PowerPoint presentations, participate in discussions, and complete
assignments and quizzes. Students will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be eligible
to register to take a certification exam administered by the American Health Information
Management Association (AHIMA). Upon successful completion of the AHIMA exam, students
will receive the Certified Health Technology Specialist certificate for a trainer. There will be one
required in-person meeting. Note: Certain eligible students may be able to take this course

you practical tools to enhance your ability to RELAX and to handle stress more effectively.
