There are so many reasons why Suffolk County Community College is an

With 100 degree and certificate programs, as well as articulation and dual

admissions agreements with many local and nationally renowned four-year

schools, our students are able to pursue a wide variety of interests and

transfer with full credit to a four-year college or university to pursue

a bachelor’s degree.

As the largest community college in the State University of New York (SUNY)

system, you can count on Suffolk for a full collegiate experience that includes

recognized athletic programs, more than 90 student clubs, organizations

and support services.

Athletics

Suffolk County Community College is a member of the National Junior

College Athletic Association (NJCAA) – Division III and offers the following

intercollegiate sports:

Men: Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer,

Tennis, Track

Women: Basketball, Bowling, Cross Country, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball,

Tennis, Track, Volleyball

Cheer, Dance, Equestrian, and Men’s Ice Hockey teams are also sponsored

by the Athletic Department. In addition, the College offers a wide range of

intramural sports.
