Plan, Plan, Plan
Transferring requires thought and planning. Aside from choosing the right
classes and keeping your grades up, you should be methodical about
investigating different colleges and applying for admission and financial aid
on schedule. Make a list of questions that you want to ask and be aware
of application deadlines.
Students need to think about the transfer process on an ongoing basis, not
just in their last semester. Visit a transfer counselor on your campus, attend
college fairs and meet with colleges that come to Suffolk, review college
websites and schedule campus visits. It is never too early to begin the process.
