XOT500 OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT PART I
Tuition $1,595.00
Part I of a two-semester program. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to
obtain employment in optical centers under the supervision of a licensed optician. Participants
must possess a high school diploma or a High School Equivalency diploma.
Note: Class
times will vary and students must be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to
5:00 pm. Field placement is required.

XOT510 OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT PART II
Tuition $1,595.00
Builds upon knowledge and skills acquired in XOT500. Prerequisite: Successful completion
of XOT510 (Ophthalmic Technician Assistant Part I). This course focuses on the American
Board of Opticianry (ABO) certification and Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification.
Once Part II is completed, students will be prepared to take the ABO and/or COA national
certification test. It is the student’s responsibility to schedule this test.
Note: Class times will
vary and students must be available Monday through Friday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Field placement is required.

XAH122 DIETARY MANAGERS CERTIFICATE PROGRAM Tuition $699.00
Our 120-hour Dietary Managers Program is a two-semester course which trains and educates
food service managers. This course has been granted full approval by the Dietary Managers
Association (DMA). Graduates are eligible for membership in the DMA and may take the
National Certification Examination for Dietary Managers. Supervisors, cooks and other dietary
personnel who have demonstrated leadership potential are eligible to enroll in the program,
which is held on alternate Saturdays during the semester. (8 meetings; schedule available at
first session.)

XHI102 TECHHIRE HEALTH INFORMATION BOOT CAMP No Tuition Required
Students will participate in classroom and online instruction to develop career skills for
the healthcare field through a Tech Hire workforce grant. This course is designed to
prepare students with practical knowledge that will strengthen time management, develop
organizational skills, and introduce the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Students will also
complete a module that will introduce them to the Community Health Care Worker career.
Participants will explore employer requirements and develop their portfolio accordingly.
Students will earn a National Workforce Readiness Credential upon completion and will be
prepared to take the Health IT online course, that will lead to a HIMSS Health IT certification.
Prerequisite: Must be 17-29 years of age. (60 hours)
