L.I. Cybersecurity Conference

Campus

"Protecting Your Business: Where to Begin"

Presented by Suffolk County Community College in partnership with DuWayne Gregory, Presiding Officer of the Suffolk County Legislature, and Legislator Kara Hahn, this topical conference offers regional businesses an opportunity to discuss the practical steps needed to protect their companies from identity theft, data breaches and a wide range of cyber-related challenges. It also creates a mutual opportunity to assess critical areas of need related to information technology.

To develop the workforce required to safeguard digital information, Suffolk County Community College is launching a new Cybersecurity degree. A collaboration between industry and education will help to maintain a successful workforce and this conference represents the first in what will become an annual opportunity to ensure that Suffolk's programs are meeting the cyber needs of the Long Island business community.

The conference is free but registration is required.
