Allegory of the Cave: New Work by Jim Byrne and Jim Osman at Flecker Gallery
An exhibition pairing the paintings of Long Island artist and Suffolk County Community College Professor Jim Byrne with the sculptures 
of Brooklyn artist and Parsons Professor Jim Osman will open at the Suffolk County Community College Flecker Gallery on Tuesday, November 5.
Allegory of the Cave: New Work by Jim Byrne and Jim Osman promises to engage the senses as well as the intellect.
While there are clear differences between the artists’ approaches to their work, there are also a number of fascinating areas of convergence philosophically and aesthetically.
There will be an opening reception from 1 -3 PM and artist lecture at 3:45 pm on Tuesday, Nov 5, 2015. The exhibit runs through December 10, 2015.
