Accident Insurance
All full-time students and part-time students enrolled in certain field placements, internships, and cooperative education programs are required to participate (note that the accident insurance fee is charged at the time of registration).
Accident insurance is available to all other part-time students on a voluntary basis. Contact the Health Services Office for an enrollment form.
Coverage is in effect 24 hours a day on and off campus.
Insured students enrolled for both the fall and spring semesters have coverage on an annual basis.
Insured students enrolled for only the fall or spring semesters have coverage until the start of the next (i.e., fall or spring) semester.
The policy provides for reimbursement of reasonable and customary medical expenses incurred within 52 weeks from the date of the accident. Accidental death and dismemberment benefits are also provided (see plan for specific benefits, restrictions, exclusions, etc.).
Contact the campus Health Services Office for additional information and claims forms.
