- Survivors and Dependent
Educational Assistance Program (DEA) (Chapter 35)Offers educational and training opportunities for eligible dependents of veterans who are permanently or totally disabled due to service related injury or are deceased. Program offers up to 45 months of educational benefits.

- Work Study Program
Available to any student receiving VA Educational Benefits and enrolled at least three-quarter time. Positions can be at the institution, the VA Office or at any approved State Employment Office.
- Tutorial Assistance Program
Assistance is available if you are receiving VA assistance on at least a half-time student basis.

The AACRAO manual is used by school officials for VA information on these programs and as a guide to school qualifications of VA forms.
