CARS Admissions Statuses

Below is a table explaining the college's current Admissions Statuses:

  • LEADS (currently not used)
 Individuals added to the system from tapes recieved from outside sources. No student initiated contact received.
  • INQUIRED
 Student or Parent Inquiry about the college or request for information.
  • APPLIED
 Application received from a new student. This student has had no previous admissions history at the college. At this status the application is not yet complete
  • CHANGED
 This existing student has applied for a curriculum change into a restricted program.
  • REACTIVE
 This individual has applied to reactivate a previous application. This individual is not currently a matriculated student of the college and may be a new student to the college.
  • WITHDRAWN
 The student's application has been Withdrawn before acceptance either by the student of by the college for non-compliance with the reqirements of an application. This is an acceptable terminal status for a prospective student.
  • APPCOMP
 The application from new, reacts and change of emphsis students is considered complete and ready to be sent to campus admissions. Often this means the college has received a completed High School transcript. This status will often be updated by the Cars system when HS information is complete.
  • APPFOLD
 During the normal process, H.S. Averages have been computed and the folder has been released to the campus. The student is ready for a decision.
  • ACCEPT (to become ACCEPT1, ACCEPT2, ACCEPTG)
 Student Accepted. (To become Student accepted into their 1st or 2nd choice, or into another Curriculim)
  • DENIED
 Student request for acceptance or a change in curriculim is denied.
  • ACCINST
 During late admit times, The campus's will use this status to move a student from a pre APPCOMP or BLANK status to Instantly Accepted.
  • DECLINE
 Student withdrew after acceptance.
  • NORESP
Student never followed through after being accepted. (Coming back from Mainframe)
  • REGISTERED
 Student registered for class. (Coming back from MSOL)
  • NOSHOW
 Student registered but never Paid and was stripped (Coming back from MSOL)
  • PAID
 Tutition or Tuition Deposite has been Paid. (Coming back from MSOL)
  • ENROLLED
 Student in class as of the 3 week roster. (Coming back from MSOL)
  • NOATTEND
 Student Paid but not in any class at 3 week roster. (Coming back from MSOL)
