Dealing with Deceased Applicants
Hopefully this will not be needed very often. However if you do need
to indicate an individual is deceased, you must add a "Y" to
the deceased field of the ID record, move the admissions record to a final
status and turn tickler off for the record. This is handled as follows:
- Adding a "Y" to the Deceased field of an ID record:
- Moving the admissions record to a final status and turning tickler
off:
- There is no status for DECEASED. As a result, the admissions record
needs to be moved from an active applicant status to an existing final
status. The final status choices are determined by the individual's current
status as per the table below. In the normal undergraduate application
screen make the change by adding the necessary contact.
- I know these statuses do not exactly describe the situation, however,
adding a brief description to the blob under the contact does help.
(Clich
here for example)
- On the bottom line of the individual's application acreen, change the
"Turn Tickler OFF?" field to "Y" (Clich
here for example)
