  • When using Internet Explorer
    • To view a .doc file:
      1. Click on subject above
      2. This will launch the word document.
    • To view a .tif file:
      1. Click on subject above
      2. A pop-up window will appear
      3. Click on Open File
      4. This will open up the .tif file.
        (There may be occasions where a system will not open up the .tif file as there was no previous associated file selected. In this case follow the Netscape instructions for opening a .tif document)
    • To view a .gif file:
      1. Right click on subject above
      2. A pop-up window will appear
      3. Click on Save Target As
      4. The file will download and a window will open. Select a folder in which you want to save the file.
      5. Select a program such as Photoshop, Paint, Image Composer, etc. and open up the file you just saved. The files 
        may be large, you will have to scroll to view the entire image.
  • When using Netscape
    • To view a .doc file:
      1. Click on subject above
      2. A pop-up window will appear
      3. Click on Open it, then Click on OK.
        This will launch the word document.
    • To view a .tif file:
      1. Click on subject above
      2. A pop-up window will appear
      3. Click on Save to Disk, then Click on OK.
      4. This will launch another pop-up window.
      5. Navigate to a folder to save the .tif file
      6. Click on Save
      7. To view the .tif file you can: Click on Start, Click on Programs, Click on Accessories, Click on Imaging.
      8. An imaging program will open then Click on File, Click on Open and navigate to the folder where you saved the .tif file. Hi-lite the file and Click on Open. This will launch the .tif file.
