WELCOME TO THE SUFFOLK COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE SCHOOL OF NURSING

For those searching for a meaningful, exciting career with which to make a difference there is no more vibrant path than nursing!  Nurses are vitally important members of the health care team and their role is complex and ever-expanding.  Studying to be a nurse is therefore a significant and weighty undertaking.  The SCCC School of Nursing has been preparing students for this dynamic and integral profession for over 40 years. The faculty and staff at SCCC are committed to educating nurses to think critically, practice competently, and advocate compassionately for the health care needs of their clients and community.   Our legacy of commitment to nursing education is enhanced by a diverse and talented faculty, supportive learning environment, and an accountable curriculum that is both rigorous and stimulating.
