Eastern Campus Art Exhibit Features Exceptional Student Works, Nov. 2 – Dec. 10

Suffolk County Community College student art work will be featured in a fall Eastern Campus Student Art Exhibit, a lively, salon-style show highlighting exceptional work created by students in the applied arts programs on the college’s Eastern Campus.  The show will run from November 2 – December 10, 2015.  An opening reception will be held on Thursday, November 12 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

More than 60 works in a variety of media created in photography, graphic design, computer art, and interior design classes will be on display.

Prospective students are encouraged to attend the exhibit to see the high proficiency attained by students in Suffolk’s Eastern Campus Art Department.


The Eastern Campus of Suffolk County Community College is located at 121 Speonk-Riverhead Rd., Riverhead, NY and the Gallery is located in the Montauket Learning Resources Center. Gallery hours are Monday - Thursday from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. The gallery is closed on Sundays and holidays (gallery closed on 11/11, and from 11/26 – 11/28).

Directions to the Eastern Campus: Take the Long Island Expressway to exit 70.  Take County Road (CR) 111 four miles to County Road 51.  Turn left toward Riverhead and go north on CR 51.  For approx.  3.5 miles, turn right at the traffic light onto Speonk-Riverhead Road to the campus entrance on the right.  For further information, please call (631) 548-2536.
