Sponsorships for College Golf Classic Honoring Suffolk PBA President, Proceeds Support Scholarships.

A variety of sponsorships for the Suffolk Community College Foundation’s  31st Annual Golf Classic honoring Noel DiGerolamo, President of the Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association (PBA) are available for the August 25 event at the Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Commack according to event organizers.

 

The proceeds from the Golf Classic will support needs-based and merit-based scholarships, emergency student loans and academic enrichment programs for Suffolk County Community College students.  The Foundation distributed more than $500,000 in scholarships last year.

 

“Sponsorship of this event supports initiatives that foster student success and increases access and affordability,” said Foundation Executive Director Rick Guarino, “the Golf Classic is a great event where alumni, faculty, staff and our benefactors interact and celebrate the honoree and our College.”

 

The August 25 event will begin with 9:30 a.m. registration and refreshments followed by a shot-gun start at 11 a.m., a cocktail reception at 5: pm and an awards dinner at 6 p.m.

 

Early Birdie registration is $250 per golfer, $960 per foursome, with payment received by July 25.  After July 25 the registration is $275 per golfer and $1,100 for a foursome.  Registration includes golf, access to the driving range and putting green, golf cart, lunch, cocktail reception and awards dinner.
