TITLE: Assistant Director of Enrollment Management

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Announcement is hereby made for the full-time position of Assistant Director of Enrollment Management.    This is a Guild (Unit 4) position, and, as such, the salary and benefits for this position are determined according to the salary and benefits plan for the Guild of Administrative Officers.

 

The Assistant Director of Enrollment Management will work collaboratively across the College and externally to optimize the College’s enrollment management goals for student success. The Assistant Director will develop institutional recruitment, persistence and retention strategies. The Assistant Director will develop strategic and operational enrollment management planning and initiatives. The Assistant Director reports directly to the College Dean of Enrollment Management.

 

Job Duties:

 

  • Identifies specific cohort student populations for targeted recruitment engagement;
  • Works with the college community in the creation, implementation and assessment of best-practice initiatives for recruitment, persistence and retention;
  • Works with the campus Directors of Admissions to enhance student-centered recruitment strategies;
  • Works with the Office of Institutional Advancement to develop enrollment management marketing and advertising campaigns for increased enrollment while maintaining institutional branding;
  • Develops comprehensive communication plans for prospective students;
  • Analyzes the enrollment management websites’ analytics;
  • Works with the College’s web manager to ensure the effectiveness of the Student Affairs website;
  • Monitors outcomes assessment of enrollment management strategies, analyzing data in conjunction with the Director of Enrollment Information and Reporting;
  • Works with academic departments to develop strategies to increase yield of potential applicants;
  • Maintains active enrollment management outreach between the College, local high schools, business and industry, community-based organizations and social-service agencies;
  • Provides information to the College Dean of Enrollment Management, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Executive Deans to establish benchmarks for institutional enrollment goals;
  • Monitors restricted programs to determine enrollment trends;
  • Identifies and incorporates the use of best practice web-based technology in recruitment, enrollment, persistence and retention;
  • Works cooperatively with the College Registrar, Assistant Director of Financial Aid and College Associate Dean for Planning and College Master Scheduling;
  • Establishes databases to support enrollment processes;
  • Assesses college-wide recruitment and retention strategies;
  • Other duties as assigned by the College Dean of Enrollment Management.

 



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Master’s Degree in student personnel or a related field and a minimum of five years professional experience in enrollment management services are required with statistical knowledge for data analysis. Candidates must also possess analytical skills, strong communication skills, and excellent written and verbal skills. Community college experience is preferred.
